Trevor Cobb.

Trevor is the owner-director of the Microwave Service Company,
and is married to Linda, who is a registered nurse.

They have two children: Adrian, who repairs Apache helicopters in the Army,
and Rosanna who is deciding which university course to take...

Trevor spent 15 years in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers
as a gun fitter repairing large artillery pieces, and Challenger tanks.
He left the service with an HNC in Computer Aided Engineering,
and a diploma in Engineering Management; he registered with the
Engineering Council as an Incorporated Engineer, and started the
Microwave Service Company in 1993 working from his garage in Folkestone.

Relaxing

As a keen motorcyclist,
Trevor has been a member of the
East Kent Advanced Motorcyclists
for over 10 years,  and rides a 2007 Aprillia Tuono.
In 2007 Trevor qualified as an observer in the
Institute of Advanced Motorists,
and is an active member of the
East Kent Advanced Motorists
coaching members to pass their advanced driving tests.
Spare time is taken up with gardening, and although not an expert gardener, Trevor enjoys switching off by digging up weeds, and waging perpetual war on slugs and other pests.

Holidays

Although Rosanna and Adrian are now spreading their wings, Trevor and Linda are still able to get them together for holidays, and the family enjoys exploring the world.
A particular favourite is the USA, where Trevor and Linda have owned a timeshare since 1994. Westgate resorts website

Steve Griggs

Steve is the Service Manager/Engineer, and Website Manager/Designer for the Microwave Service Company.
He started his working life with Rediffusion as a television tester and
repairer in their refurbishing depot in Folkestone, until being made
redundant when the company was taken over by Granada TV.
After a short break taking driving lessons he started work as a trainee microwave oven
engineer with ABC Microwave, which became the Microwave Service Company
shortly after Trevor took over the company in 1996 (was it really that long ago?)

Holidays and photography

Steve is a keen photographer, and also enjoys exploring the world.
A favourite holiday destination is the Greek islands, particularly Rhodes and Crete.
Favourite subjects for photography include gardens, landscapes, and old or historic buildings.

Relaxing with music

He enjoys relaxing by listening to a wide variety of music,
from classical music such as Beethoven, Mozart, and Wagner to more "modern" music such as:
Mike Oldfield, Genesis, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, Jean-Michel Jarre...

Switching off with a good book

Another form of relaxation is a good book, favourite authors include:
