Samsung 24 V Roadmate microwave ovens.
We can now repair your 24 volt Samsung Roadmate microwave oven.
We have had a number of enquiries about repairing these microwave ovens, as people seem to be having problems finding a repair service.
We have recently obtained a suitable 24 volt power supply for these ovens for our workshop, and the necessary service information to repair them.
We are able to source the genuine spares direct from Samsung.so we can provide a fast and efficient repair service for you, provided you can bring the microwave to our workshop, or have it delivered to us for you.
Inverters
We are getting a steady stream of enquiries about 12 and 24 volt inverters for running our low power microwave ovens off of camper van, and lorry batteries.
We have tried a few sources; but so far not been too impressed with the quality and after sales service, so we are still doing our 'homework' to find good quality inverters at a sensible price.
Problem is, there's quite a few cheap inverters on the market, but cheap's the word. We don't want to sell cheap appliances that pack up after a few months, and the find there's no after sales backup because the seller has moved on to another scheme. That doesn't help you, and it doesn't do our reputation any good either.
So bear with us and watch this space, when we have a product we are happy with we will let you know here.

We have found some kettles which will run from a 240 volts AC electrical supply, but use less than 6 amps.
This means that like our microwave ovens they can be used on campsite electrical hookups, or even with a 1500 watt inverter.

These are selling very well at present.
An alternative to that big steamer on the hob using up lots of electricity (or gas). These steamers are great for cooking vegetables quickly in the microwave. You just put a bit of water in the base of the steamer, put the food in the basket, and place inside the steamer.
Just microwave for a few minutes (because you are microwaving as well as steaming it's quicker) and you have got freshly steamed veg, in a fraction of the time, at a fraction of the cost.
No wonder they are popular.
